Company Brain

A company brain is the connected layer of knowledge, context and systems that gives AI what it needs to reason and act across a business.

The term is a description of a goal rather than a specific technology. It names the thing most companies do not have: a single place where what the company knows, what it has decided, and what it is currently doing are connected to each other, instead of split across a wiki, a CRM, a chat history and several inboxes.

The practical value is not storage but retrieval with judgment. A person joining a project reads the documents, but what makes them useful is knowing which are current, who owns them and what was decided since. A company brain is the attempt to make that same judgment available to an AI system, so it does not treat a superseded document and a live one as equally true.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. A search index finds documents. A company brain also holds how they relate: which decision supersedes which, who owns a piece of work, and how a conversation connects to the record it changed.
